Cubs catcher Michael Barrett was driving back to Chicago after a series in Milwaukee when he decided to stop at a Cracker Barrel restaurant in Kenosha, Wis. Some of the diners recognized him, one thing led to another and the next thing you know, Barrett was picking up the check for everybody in the place.
How great is this! The last thing I really remember about Michael Barrett was him punching AJ Pierzynski in the face.
Seems like old Barrett likes down home cooking and he likes being nice to people. That’s a whole heck of a lot of biscuits and gravey not to mention a a ton of cinnamon apples (mmmmmmm….. cinnamon apples).
